On October 1st, 1998 the German Postal Service introduced a new product called pre-paid parcels with a hologram. This item is the combination of a box and a pre-paid postage label. The self-adhesive label (size 7.5 x 6.3 inch when applied) shows a picture in the top half, an area for sender and mailing address at the bottom, plus the pre-payment imprint and a hologram.
